The land of love

some day I will live there.

Today on set I was amazed how many people had never seen Adventure time. It got me thinking. I’ve drawn a few heart dudes and other fun heart inspired creatures so what if they all lived in a land that was all about love. I decided to work up a rough sketch of the city they would live in. I think I will explore this more. I could do another website. Though I have a lot on my plate all ready. We will just have to wait and see what I do. In the mean time I will keep drawing hearts. Who knows I may stumble on the key to the Land of Love.

Greater or lesser heart

Today I signed a contract for my first pilot. It’s a new media pilot. I could make more money pounding nails. You couldn’t make a living working at that wage but we don’t do it for the money. We do it because we love making art. Sure it’s very little payment but we aren’t working for free. I look at it that I am starting to make money in the field that I love. It was a long 12 hour day. I have a headache. Plus a little bit of a sunburn. I still have a little smile on my face. I know deep down inside I will get better. That there will be more jobs. Just like when I started doing this blog. It was really tough at first but it has gotten a little easier every time I put the work in. I will keep drawing those hearts as I sail off to my dream. Good night everyone. Keep chasing your dream.

Love looks forward

Every day is a great day for love

When you are in love you look forward to every day. I only sleep four hours. I have a small headache nibbling at the back of my skull. I am alive. I can live with the pain. The inconvenience. Love is excited for each and every day. Why can’t we go through life with this energy. I am very grateful to be loved so deeply. I have moments were I love deeply and those are the special times in my life. I don’t deserve to have this much love in my life. It is a blessing. I try every day to appreciate what I have. When you love someone you have no idea of the large impact you have on them. Love someone today. Send a ripple through the world.

Not renting to hate

Be careful in what you let into your heart

My heart has many rooms in it. There is always a room open in my heart. What I don’t have room for is hate. Hate will mess up the whole house. It’s the worst room mate you could ever dream off. He uses up all your money. He waste all your time on meaningless things. He breaks your stuff. In the end he drives away all the other tenants away. In the end it will just be hate left owning your heart. Don’t let rent in as a renter of your heart for one second because in the end he will own it. I will keep drawing a heart a day to remind myself on this fact. Love has to be my number one goal.

A explosion of love

I have no idea why I did this piece. I am only going to say I am functioning on 15 hours of sleep in 5 days. I have been having sleeping problems again. I know its stress or someone came in and messed up my internal clock. I am hoping and praying for a good night sleep. I have done everything to night. Even though this piece was done quickly I like it. The great thing about a love explosion is the worst thing that can happen to you is a hug and kiss. Wouldn’t that be great if the worst violence in the world was a hug and kiss. I pray for that day. A day were we all love each other.

Either/or heart

one loving act can change the world.

In the last four days I have slept 12 hours. I am tired. I have a blistering headache for all of those four days. I am trying to get to bed early. I need a good nights sleep. It doesn’t matter if your heart is small or big. One loving act can change the world. These aren’t pipe dream words. There are people through history that one moment changed the course of their life and all those around them. This blog may never take off yet if I get one person to become more loving than it has been worth it. I know drawing these hearts has changed my life. Make a ripple in the world’s pond.

Dinner Love

Thanks hon for all the dinners made with love

Once again I had only three hours of sleep. No matter what I do I wake up three hours later. I can’t go back to sleep. I am tired to say the least. I still wanted to do my heart for the day. I love it when I come home from a hard days work and have dinner waiting for me. It may not be much some days. Tonight was only a piece of chicken warmed up. Wife said she wasn’t able to do the sides due to all the kids acting crazy. It was the thought that counted. I pray that I will get a good night sleep much like I pray every day to be a more loving person.

I slept three hours again. I have battled a headache all day. I decided to do something fun. I know for me the little things make the day. I am going to try to shake this headache before bed. I am going to watch the tv show Last man on Earth. I wonder would I still draw a heart everyday if I was the last man on earth.
