I am tired of the race. I want to rest in your arms all day long. To know nothing but love even if it’s only for the day. That would be great. Instead the world is always creeping in. making me chase after money. Finish to do lists. No matter what I do the world is indifferent to me. I will be gone soon. The world won’t notice. Only you.
