another The fault in our stars inspired painting
I got a little carried away with this painting. It is inspired by The fault in our stars. That is Augustus chasing Hazel on the bridge. Well at least in my mind that is what I thought. I painted this on just a piece of card stock. I do like to use watercolor for the sky. The rest of the painting is Acrylic. This is not in any way the look of Amsterdam along the canals. The elm trees don’t turn red. I just wanted them to be. Plus I wanted a few leaves falling to be hearts. Over all I am happy with this piece. I would have kept messing with it it if it wasn’t for my wife. Who thought we should frame it. Remember it’s not how you draw the heart it’s how much love you put in it.
